Dr. Who Day is Saturday

Portsmouth Library hosts event, contest from noon to 4 p.m. on Oct. 18.

Allons-y! Geronimo! Fantastic! Join us at the Portsmouth Public Library from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18, for our very first Doctor Who Day! This event is FREE and open to the public. All ages are encouraged to attend!

We’re offering some fabulous prizes from local sponsors:

  1. Art Show: Artwork submitted will be entered to win a prize.
  2. Costume Contest: Dress up like your favorite doctor, companion, monster, or other character! Vote for your favorites and we’ll announce the winners at the end of the day.
  3. Trivia: Join us at 2 p.m. for a trivia game and another chance to win.

Prizes will be drawn at 3:30 PM on Oct. 18.

At Doctor Who Day, you’ll also be able to:

  • Make your own paper TARDIS!
  • Make your own Sonic Screwdriver (supplies limited)!
  • Write your name in Gallifreyan!

  • Take a picture in the Photobooth!
  • Check out Doctor Who books!
