Elderly Newmarket Man Injured in Crash
Portsmouth Police: Ocean Road closure due to traffic collision.

On Oct. 30, 2015 at 9:44 a.m., the Portsmouth Police were called to a collision with injury on Ocean Road by Buckminster Way. The collision was between a motor vehicle and a tractor trailer unit, according to Sgt. Dave Keaveny.
“The road was closed until approximately 12:15 p.m. while traffic was diverted through Buckminster Way,” he noted. “New Hampshire State Police responded to the scene and assisted with the investigation.”
The operator of the motor vehicle, an elderly man from Newmarket, was transported to the Portsmouth Regional Hospital with serious Injuries. The operator of the tractor trailer unit was not injured.
