Parenting After Divorce or Separation

Finding it hard to get your 'ex' to cooperate? Want to keep your kids out of the middle? Wishing for smoother pickups and dropoffs? Do you know which roles (like "the confidant" or "the messenger") and information can be damaging children? Do you know what parents can do in this situation to actually help children develop skills they can use in many parts of life? This class for divorced or separated parents can help, giving you new ideas on how to do what’s best for your child, whether your co-parent is cooperative or not. This program has given many parents ways to cope with and relieve the stress of this situation. NOTE: Parents do not need to attend with their coparent. Facilitator: Steve Vogl, Co-Parent Mediator. There is a $40 fee, to be paid in advance, covering all five weeks (11/8-12/6). Program is free to clients of Families First Health Center and Home Visiting programs. Fee for a second household member is half-price. Payment plans available. Call 422-8208 ext. 123. This is a program of Families First Health and Support Center (www.FamiliesFirstSeacoast.org). Program includes free child care, and dinner for the kids. Advance signup required for program and child care; call 603-422-8208 ext. 2.
