SHOULD I BE WORRIED?? UNDERSTANDING PROBLEMATIC BEHAVIORS IN TERMS OF ‘NORMAL’ CHILD DEVELOPMENT (flyer)
Wednesday, June 6, 9:30-11 a.m.
Does your child push classmates out of the way to be first? Melt down if you run out of waffles? Line up his cars in neat little rows? Fling her socks off in frustration? Refuse to wear anything but a tutu? Balk at trying anything new? Is your 5-year-old not fully toilet trained, or your 9-year-old still sleeping with you? At what point, exactly, should you be worried?? This Q&A with local psychologist and author Dr. Dawn Huebner will help participants understand children’s behavior in terms of ‘normal’ child development and learn when and how to intervene in order to manage troubling behaviors and help children build skills.
