PORTSMOUTH, NH - “We have a tremendous diversity of film coming to the Music Hall this month,” said The Music Hall’s Programming Coordinator Chris Curtis. “You don’t want to miss Spotlight, Room, and Brooklyn. These three are only a sampling of the remarkable cinema on screen at The Music Hall’s two venues in January - including the best indie and foreign films.”
Indeed, what better way to spend a winter’s afternoon or evening than with a meal and a movie in the charming, bustling seacoast town of Portsmouth, with a wide spectrum of terrific restaurants, one-of-a-kind shops, and tasty treats and libations in The Music Hall’s two award-winning theaters? Filmgoers can enjoy popular favorites Brooklyn, Room, and Spotlight. As well, films you won’t find anywhere else on the Seacoast, Ingrid Bergman: In Her Own Words, Mustang, and Kenneth Branagh’s A Winter’s Tale at the Loft. Also, on the big screen at The Historic Theater this month is Met @ The Music Hall’s Les Pêcheurs de Perles and Turandot, and Film Matters documentary Real Value.
