Former State Sen. Martha Fuller Clark, Husband Endorse Sherman

The Portsmouth couple say state Sen. Tom Sherman, D-Rye, because they know he will stand up for what's best for every New Hampshire family.

Former State Senator Martha Fuller Clark and her husband, Dr. Geoffrey Clark, are endorsing Dr. Tom Sherman for Governor.

Fuller Clark has been a leader in the state and in New Hampshire Democratic politics for decades. She served six terms in the New Hampshire State House and seven terms in the New Hampshire State Senate, as well as serving as 1st Vice Chair to the state Democratic party and as a member of the Democratic National Committee.

She has seen firsthand Tom’s breadth of experience working across the aisle, from helping craft the New Hampshire Medicaid Expansion statute to ensuring the safety and security of the 2020 election.

“I’m endorsing Dr. Tom Sherman to be our next governor because I know he will stand up for what’s best for every New Hampshire family,” said former State Senator Martha Fuller Clark. “We worked together in the state senate to keep families healthy, protect our drinking water, and provide property tax relief. One of the great joys of my career was working for my constituents and becoming a part of their communities, and I know Tom has the same respect for and dedication to them that I do.”
