Free Ice Cream Day Oct. 2 Will Benefit Families First

The fundraiser at the Rye establishment begins at noon – rain or shine – and lasts until all the ice cream is gone.

PORTSMOUTH, NH — On Saturday, Oct. 2, Lago’s Ice Cream will once again host its annual Free Ice Cream Day with proceeds benefitting Families First. The fundraiser begins at noon – rain or shine – and lasts until all the ice cream is gone. In return for the free scoops, customers are asked to make a donation to benefit the pediatric health care program at Families First Health & Support Center. Lago’s is located at 71 Lafayette Road in Rye.

Families First is a nonprofit organization providing primary, prenatal, behavioral and oral health care; parent and family groups; one-on-one family support; and mobile health care.
