Frisbie Memorial Hospital Earns ACR Accreditation Renewal
The accreditation represents the highest level of image quality, patient safety when it comes CT scanning for adult, pediatric patients.

Frisbie Memorial Hospital recently earned American College of Radiology (ACR) Accreditation renewal in CT scanning for adult and pediatric patients, according to a press statement.
Currently, the following modalities in radiology have been granted ACR Accreditation: CT, Ultrasound, MRI, and Nuclear Medicine.
The ACR gold seal of accreditation represents the highest level of image quality and patient safety. Board-certified physicians and medical physicists who are experts in the field award ACR Accreditation only to facilities meeting ACR Practice Guidelines and Technical Standards after a peer-review evaluation. Image quality, personnel qualifications, adequacy of facility equipment, quality control procedures, and quality assurance programs are assessed. The findings are reported to the ACR Committee on Accreditation, which subsequently provides the practice with a comprehensive report they can use for continuous practice improvement.
