Five people accused of dealing heroin out of the Gosling Meadows public housing complex will answer to numerous charges in court this morning.
Portsmouth detectives and members of the Seacoast Emergency Response Team arrested the individuals during a raid on Weald Road and Gosling Road last week. The warrants were the result of months of investigation into the sale of heroin in the neighborhood following complaints from community members.

- Gary Murray, 60, of 25 Weald Road, who was already on probation, was charged with one count of heroin sales.
- Delanae Sykes, 30, of 25 Weald Road, was charged with two counts of heroin sales.
- Gregory Watson, 45, of 25 Weald Road, was charged with five counts of heroin sales.
- Caroline Paradis, 43, of 32 Gosling Road, was charged with two counts of heroin sales and one count of possession of a controlled drug.
- Jonathan Barrett, 23, of Lawrence, Mass., was charged with conspiracy to sell heroin.
All five will be arraigned this morning at Portsmouth District Court.
Police said they seized evidence at both homes, as well as vehicles. Members of the Kittery, Maine Police Department and the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Narcotics Task Force assisted in the investigation. The investigation was supported by the Portsmouth Housing Authority.
