Greenland Man Arrested On Stolen Property Charges: Portsmouth Police Log

Homeless pair from Rochester arrested for robbery, Portsmouth man arrested for domestic violence, teens taken into protective custody.

PORTSMOUTH, NH — Stephen M. Thyng, 41, of Kings Highway in New Durham, was arrested at 1:57 p.m. on Oct. 24, 2017, for simple assault. He was arrested on a warrant.

Keith Kevorkian, 31, of Old Auburn Road in Derry, was arrested at 1:09 a.m. on Oct. 23, 2017, on a warrant from the Lee Police Department. He was arrested on Lafayette Road.

Eric Rosberg, 39, of Spinnaker Way in Portsmouth, was arrested at 6:36 p.m. on Oct. 22, 2017, on a domestic violence charge. Police were sent to Osprey Drive for a report of a criminal threatening incident. A 12-hour domestic hold was issued for a man who had keys to the property. Police reached out to the man but he reportedly refused to come into police headquarters, according to dispatch. Police met with him at his home and he was arrested. A 16-year-old was arrested at 12:08 a.m. on Oct. 1, 2017, for possession of controlled/narcotic drugs after a motor vehicle stop on Lafayette Road near Andrew Jarvis Drive. Three other 16-year-olds were taken into protective custody.

Ross T. Hammond, 31, of Portsmouth Avenue in Greenland, was arrested at 5:50 p.m. on Sept. 30, 2017, on five counts of receiving stolen property. He was arrested on a warrant the Rockingham County Jail.

Katherine Canney, 27, and Kyle Hamel, 27, both homeless people now located in Rochester, were arrested on robbery charges at 10:19 a.m. on Sept. 30, 2017. Detectives were sent to the Strafford County Jail to serve them warrants while they were incarcerated.

William Kujawa, 71, of Woodview Way in Manchester, was arrested at 9:32 a.m. on Sept. 30, 2017, on a theft charge. He was arrested on a warrant.
