Jeb Bush Holds Events in NH Friday

Right to Rise PAC also hires "key NH operatives."

Former Gov. Jeb Bush, R-FL, will make at least two stops in the state of New Hampshire as he ponders whether or not to enter New Hampshire’s first-in-the-nation primary for the Republican nomination in 2016.

Bush will hold a business roundtable event in Hudson on Friday, March 13, at INTEGRA Biosciences Corp., a life science industry laboratory that develops tools that allow for the “handling and sterilization of liquids more effectively,” according to the company’s website.

During the evening, the potential presidential candidate will be attending a house party in Dover at the home of Fergus Cullen, a former New Hampshire Republican State Committee chairman and communications consultant. Cullen was the state chairman in 2007-2008, and has been quoted frequently in news stories about Bush and the primary.

The events, announced this morning, come just hours after James Pindell of The Boston Globe broke the news that Bush’s political action committee, Right to Rise, hired two political operatives to work in the state. Rob Varsalone, who assisted Bush’s brother President George W. Bush in 2004 in New Hampshire, and Nate Lamb, Scott Brown’s 2014 field director, have both been hired by the PAC.
