Kittery, Maine Man Charged with DWI at Portsmouth Farmers Market

Portsmouth Police supplied the following arrest information

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Thursday, July 26 through Saturday, July 28.

Thursday:

  • At 8:56 a.m., police reported the theft of medication on High Street and Deer Street.
  • At 11:24 a.m., police received a stalking complaint from a female victim who said a male subject repeatedly propositioned her for sex on Islington Street.
  • At 11:35 a.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after he turned himself in at the police station. Joshua Brazeau, 20, of 111 Eastwood Drive in Portsmouth was wanted for attempted unlawful possession of a controlled drug.

  • At 10:42 p.m., police reported a prowler complaint on Sparhawk Street that led to the arrest of a juvenile who was charged with resisting arrest or detention, prowling, unlawful possession of alcohol and criminal trespass.
  • At 11:14 p.m., police arrested another juvenile on Stark Street for disorderly conduct.

Saturday:

  • At 12:11 a.m., police arrested a Dover man on Fleet Street who was wanted as a fugitive from justice. Joshua Amosun, 22, of 25B Pierce St., Apt. 1, in Dover was wanted for criminal mischief (vandalism) and disorderly conduct.
  • At 9:23 a.m., police arrested a Kittery, Maine man for drunking driving at the Portsmouth Farmer's Market on Junkins Avenue. John Succi Jr., 20, of 46 Old Post Road in Kittery, Maine was charged with driving while intoxicated.
  • At 11:20 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth woman on Hanover Street. Monica Ann Newton, 54, of address unknown, in Portsmouth was charged with criminal trespass.
