PORTSMOUTH, NH - The mysteries of college admissions have vexed parents and students for years. This spring, the Portsmouth Public Library and Portsmouth High School are teaming up to sponsor a free informational seminar to demystify this process, according to a press statement.

Led by Wendy Thompson of Westport Educational Consulting, this program at 6:30 p.m. on April 19, 2016, offers an inside look at college admissions.

What role do essays, interviews, standardized testing, extracurricular activities, sports, and other factors play in admissions decisions? Thompson will answer these questions and more.
