Man Allegedly Bites Another Man
Portsmouth Police charge Paul Danusis with assault after incident on Springbrook Circle.

A local man was arrested earlier this month for allegedly biting another man, according to police.
Paul Danusis, 40, unknown address, was arrested at around 9:20 p.m. on Aug. 7, 2015, charged with two counts of simple assault, as well as domestic violence and breach of bail.

According to police, officers were sent to Springbrook Circle for a report of an assault.
The officers located a man and a woman at the scene. The man sustained an injury to his thumb after Danusis allegedly bit him, according to a report from Capt. Mike Schwartz. According to the victims, Danusis and the woman had reportedly previously dated.

Danusis was arrested and held on $5,000 cash bail. Since he was out on bail from a previous theft arrest, a breach of bail charge was added.
