Man Tasered And Arrested After Assaulting Mother, Officer

Police say the alleged assaults happened in front of a child.

A Portsmouth man was Tasered twice and arrested Tuesday after assaulting his mother and a police officer, according to WMUR.

Police told the television station they responded to a home on Lafayette Road on Tuesday morning after someone called 911 to report that a woman had been assaulted.

When officers arrived at the home, they said Isaac Brake, 37, assaulted his mother and a police officer during a violent scuffle in front of a child, WMUR reports. Brake was Tasered twice and then arrested. He is charged with six counts of simple assault and one count of resisting arrest.
