McPherson: Join Us for 'Beat Night' at The Press Room

On Wednesday, November 18, The Press Room on Daniel Street in Portsmouth will be hosting a “Beat Night” from 7-9 p.m. There will be featured speakers from 7-8, a short intermission, and then an “open mic” period from 8-9 during which members of the audience can sign up to perform something of their own. Time allowing, I intend to read my short story “His Left Hand,” which will be published in the Autumn/Winter 2015 issue of River Poets Journal, available for purchase from the Journal’s website in late November or early December.
