Murchie Joins Families First
She will be the new coordinator for the program for families with a chronically ill children.
Kerry Murchie has joined Families First Health & Support Center as coordinator of Partners in Health, a program for families who have a child with a chronic illness, according to a press statement.
After graduating from UNH with highest honors, Murchie worked as a family advocate at the Hillsborough County Child Advocacy Center and as statewide outreach coordinator for the Granite State Children’s Alliance. Her experience with families includes case management and making referrals to community resources, skills she is using in her role at Families First.
Partners in Health is a statewide program for families who have a child (age birth to 21) with a chronic health condition that impacts daily living; Families First’s site serves families in eastern Rockingham County. Families in the program receive information, support, referrals and financial assistance and can participate in the program’s Family Council.
