New hats & mittens sought for families in need.
Share the warmth by donating new, warm winter accessories to families struggling with food insecurity.
The Alliance for Greater Good is collaborating again with Gather, the community nonprofit fighting hunger on the Seacoast, to collect NEW hats, mittens, gloves, scarves and socks for adults and children. This is the fourth year that Alliance volunteers will pass out donated items to families receiving Thanksgiving meals at Gather's annual holiday food distribution event. With more neighbors struggling to make ends meet and the increase in food insecurity, we anticipate a greater demand for warm winter accessories this year.
There are three ways that the Seacoast community can help:
- Purchase (or handcraft) items and drop them off at the designated collection site.
- Order items using the Amazon Wish List to have the merchandise shipped directly to the Alliance for Greater Good.
- Click here and the Alliance will shop on your behalf.
