Open Democracy Advocates Rally in NH this Week
After some victories, campaign finance reform advocates will take to the Statehouse, Portsmouth, and UNH this week.

While Sunshine Week official ended earlier this month, the sun is finally coming out and the temperatures are a bit warmer outside.
And that might be why campaign finance reform advocates will be heading back to the Statehouse in Concord as well as holding rallies at UNH and in Portsmouth this week calling on President Barack Obama to sign an executive order requiring government contractors to be transparent and disclose their lobbying and donation activity, according to a press statement.
The Statehouse event in Concord is being called a “Rally for an Open Democracy” and will be held at noon on Thursday, April 2. A half an hour later, at UNH, 83 Main St. in Durham, the org will hold a rally entitled “What Are You Buying My Politician For?” at 12:30 p.m. on April 2. Then, at 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 5, another rally, “Show Me the Money,” will take place in Market Square in Portsmouth.
