Police Arrest Man from United Kingdom

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Wednesday, Jan. 25 through Saturday, Jan. 28.
Wednesday:
- At 8:48 a.m., police reported a theft on the Route 1 Bypass Northbound after a gas station manager reported that someone drove off with $20.04 of gasoline.
- At 4:01 p.m., police reported criminal mischief on Middle Road after a juvenile broke a phone and a mop. The juvenile was arrested.

- At 11:49 a.m., police arrested a man from the United Kingdom who was wanted as a fugitive from justice on Market Street near the Interstate 95 Southbound ramp. Steven B. Morin, 45, of no fixed address, U.K., was wanted on a bench warrant.
Friday:
- At 11:05 p.m., police reported a theft on Spinnaker Way after the caller said someone stole his wallet that contained $150 of cash and credit cards.

- At 3:13 p.m., police reported a theft on Peverly Hill Road and Banfield Road after the caller said her signs advertising an estate sale were taken.
- At 6:40 p.m., police reported shoplifting at a Woodbury Avenue business. Police served a no trespassing notice to the perpetrator at the scene.
