Portsmouth Arrest Log: Child Arrested for Damaging Banister

Plus, woman charged with attempted burglary and Amherst woman arrested on bad checks, criminal liability charges.

Tyler Estes, 24, of Snug Harbor Avenue in Portsmouth, was arrested at 12:20 p.m. on July 13, 2015, on an attempt to commit burglary.

A 12-year-old was arrested at 4:43 p.m. on July 14, on a criminal mischief charge. Officers were sent to Middle Road for a report that a juvenile had allegedly destroyed a banister and was “still aggressive but hasn’t assaulted anyone.” He was arrested in the front yard.

Tamara M. Smith, 26, of Eastern Avenue in Amherst, was arrested at 5:50 p.m. on July 15, on issuing bad checks and criminal liability for conduct of another charges. Dispatch reported that Amherst NH PD was “out on a stop with her” and she turned herself in to police at headquarters. Portsmouth Police would meet them for prisoner exchange at the 7-Eleven in Raymond.
