Portsmouth Man Charged with Parole Violation

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Tuesday, Jan. 17 and Wednesday, Jan. 18.
Tuesday:
- At 7:13 a.m., police charged a 15-year-old juvenile with truancy on Wedgewood Road before police escorted the juvenile to school.
- At 1:06 p.m., police reported criminal mischief on Lincoln Avenue after the caller said someone keyed a Swastika on her car.
- At 5:38 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man on Parrott Avenue as a fugitive from justice. William E. Whicher, 45, of 600 Lafayette Road in Portsmouth was wanted for a violation of probation or parole.
- At 8:07 p.m., police arrested a Bedford woman who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after she turned herself in at the police station. Kristi-Lee Byron, 31, of 15 Iron Horse Drive in Bedford was wanted for stalking and default or breach of bail conditions.

- At 8 a.m., police arrested a North Hampton man on Oak Drive who was wanted as a fugitive from justice. Todd Mercier, 49, of 27 Oak Drive in North Hampton was wanted for disorderly conduct.
- At 10:52 a.m., police reported a shoplifter at a store on Lafayette Road who was later served a barment letter.
- At 12 p.m., police reported a theft on Miller Avenue after the caller said someone stole a coin collection valued at $300.
- At 3:57 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth woman following a domestic incident on Islington Street. Morgan Ann Hickman-Noyes, 33, of 1462 Islington St. in Portsmouth was charged with simple assault.
