Portsmouth Man Charged With Two Counts of DWI

The following arrest information was supplied by the Portsmouth Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Friday, July 29.

Friday:

  • At 2:16 a.m., police charged a Portsmouth man with drunken driving on Austin Street. Matthew A Forrest, 45, of 256 Austin St., Apt. 15, in Portsmouth was arrested for two counts of driving while intoxicated and disobeying a police officer.
  • At 8:05 a.m., police arrested a Portsmouth woman who was wanted as a fugitive on Winter Street. Emily J. Keith, 25, of 70A Winter St. in Portsmouth was charged on a bench warrant and later handed off to Rochester Police at the Dover Toll Plaza on the Spaulding Turnpike.
  • At 2:15 p.m., police received a fraud complaint from an Aldrich Road caller who told police that people who presented themselves as representatives from Bank of America told them they won some sweepstakes before asking them for personal information.
  • At 3:18 p.m., police arrested a Dover man for motor vehicle offenses on Maplewood Avenue and Central Avenue. Paul M. Moore, 47, of 32 B B Grove St. in Dover was charged with driving after suspension (alcohol related).
  • At 4:09 p.m., police received a theft complaint from a caller who said some tools were stolen from the Bow Street area.
  • At 5:05 p.m., police received another theft complaint where the caller said a camera was stolen on July 9 on Market Street. A few minutes later, the caller also told police a purse was also taken on Market Street.
  • At 6:56 p.m., police reported that a cell phone valued at less than $300 was stolen from a Lafayette Road residence.
  • At 7:56 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man on Islington Street for receiving stolen property. Jeffrey M. Trenholm, 48, address unknown, Portsmouth was charged with that offense.
