For more than 40 years, since our founding in 1985, we have set the standard for clinical excellence, safety, and compassion in the air medical industry. Our tagline, “Your Life. Whether responding to an emergency scene or transferring a critically ill patient between hospitals, our team delivers seamless, patient-centered care during some of the most challenging moments in a person’s life. As a nonprofit, we are guided by one unwavering principle: every patient deserves access to lifesaving care, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. Each year, Boston MedFlight provides more than $7 million in free and unreimbursed care, ensuring no patient is ever turned away. Our clinical teams are among the most highly trained and experienced in the world, caring for patients of all ages—from premature infants to older adults—across a wide range of conditions. These include adult and pediatric trauma, complex medical emergencies, cardiac and stroke events, high-risk obstetric and neonatal care, and specialized interfacility transfers. Every clinician completes an intensive onboarding and education program that includes hospital ICU and emergency department rotations, pediatric and neonatal critical care experience, high-fidelity simulation training, advanced procedural labs, and comprehensive classroom instruction in transport medicine. Our work is supported by a state-of-the-art fleet of Airbus H145 helicopters and Freightliner mobile ICU ground vehicles, each equipped with advanced technology comparable to leading hospital ICUs.

The Portsmouth Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating Alan Edmunds, 55, of Portsmouth, who was last seen around 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, 2015.According to police, Edmunds is white, is 5-feet, 6-inches tall, and weighs around 165 lbs. He has brown hair and hazel eyes. Capt. Mike Schwartz of the Portsmouth Police Department said Edmunds may be driving a black 2013 GMC Sierra pickup truck. The truck has a NH Veterans plate, V37174. There may be a Sunoco sticker in the back window, he noted."Alan may be depressed," Schwartz said in a press statement. "If you see Alan, please notify your local police department."The lead detective on this investigation is Detective Scott Study who can be reached at 603-610-7653.
