Portsmouth Police Investigating Heroin Overdose Death
Daniel Couzins reportedly passed away on May 22.

The Portsmouth Police Department is investigating another heroin overdose in the city, according to a press alert.
Daniel Couzins, 31, of Portsmouth, passed away on May 22, 2015.
According to police, officers and Portsmouth Fire and Rescue teams were called to the Beechstone Apartments for a report of an unconscious man. The teams attempted to revive the man, later identified as Couzins, but were unsuccessful, according to Capt. Mike Schwartz of the Portsmouth Police Department.

Police and the New Hampshire Medical Examiner’s Office are investigating the incident as a heroin overdose, according to the alert.
