Portsmouth Police Investigating Untimely Death at Hotel

Laurel Wightman was found passed away at the Hampton Inn yesterday afternoon; detectives are asking for assistance with the case.

A 46-year-old woman was found passed away in a local hotel yesterday and police are asking for the public’s help with the investigation.

At around 3 p.m. on Nov. 21, 2015, Portsmouth Fire and Rescue teams were sent to the Hampton Inn and Suites on 23 Portwalk Place and found Laurel Wightman, 46, passed away, in her hotel room.

“The Portsmouth Police Department and the New Hampshire Office of the Medical Examiner are currently investigating Mrs. Wightman’s untimely death,” said Sgt. Richard Webb in a statement.
