For more than 40 years, since our founding in 1985, we have set the standard for clinical excellence, safety, and compassion in the air medical industry. Our tagline, “Your Life. Whether responding to an emergency scene or transferring a critically ill patient between hospitals, our team delivers seamless, patient-centered care during some of the most challenging moments in a person’s life. As a nonprofit, we are guided by one unwavering principle: every patient deserves access to lifesaving care, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. Each year, Boston MedFlight provides more than $7 million in free and unreimbursed care, ensuring no patient is ever turned away. Our clinical teams are among the most highly trained and experienced in the world, caring for patients of all ages—from premature infants to older adults—across a wide range of conditions. These include adult and pediatric trauma, complex medical emergencies, cardiac and stroke events, high-risk obstetric and neonatal care, and specialized interfacility transfers. We achieve this excellence through rigorous training and preparedness. Every clinician completes an intensive onboarding and education program that includes hospital ICU and emergency department rotations, pediatric and neonatal critical care experience, high-fidelity simulation training, advanced procedural labs, and comprehensive classroom instruction in transport medicine. Our work is supported by a state-of-the-art fleet of Airbus H145 helicopters and Freightliner mobile ICU ground vehicles, each equipped with advanced technology comparable to leading hospital ICUs.

A 46-year-old woman was found passed away in a local hotel yesterday and police are asking for the public's help with the investigation.At around 3 p.m. on Nov. 21, 2015, Portsmouth Fire and Rescue teams were sent to the Hampton Inn and Suites on 23 Portwalk Place and found Laurel Wightman, 46, passed away, in her hotel room. "The Portsmouth Police Department and the New Hampshire Office of the Medical Examiner are currently investigating Mrs. Wightman's untimely death," said Sgt. Richard Webb in a statement. If anyone in the Portsmouth area known Wightman or might have any information concerning her death, contact Detective Rebecca Hester at 603-610-7649.Tips can also submitted to the Seacoast Crime Stoppers by leaving an anonymous tip at 603-431-1199 or at seacoastcrimestoppers.org. You can also text your tip to CRIMES (274637) with the letters "TIPSCS" and leave your tip that way. If your tip leads to an arrest or indictment of the individual you could receive a cash reward of up to $1,000.
