Portsmouth Police Log: Girl Arrested on Drug Charges
Plus, Mass. man arrested for DWI and Maine teens allegedly flee from establishment, refusing to pay $42 tab.

Drodrolagi Denin, 34, of Cleveland Drive in Portsmouth, was arrested at 5:10 a.m. on Oct. 2, 2015, and charged with domestic violence. A woman reported to state police that she was struck and choked by a man about an hour before. Portsmouth called back and found out that the man, Denin, had allegedly been drinking and was now locked in a sunroom. Officers arrived and investigated the incident and arrested Denin.

A 15-year-old girl was arrested at 2:48 p.m. on Oct. 2, on two counts of possession of controlled/narcotic drugs. The teen turned herself in to police.

Josh Colbath, 35, of Lafayette Road in Portsmouth, was arrested at 7:07 p.m. on Oct. 2, on a violation of probation or parole charge. Officers were out with a male at Greenleaf Woods Drive and Lafayette Road checking him and doing a search of his backpack. He was arrested later and sent to jail.
Michael Hill, 18, of Howard Street in Kittery, ME, was arrested at 10:02 p.m. on Oct. 2, for loitering and resisting arrest. Also arrested was a 15-year-old juvenile for loitering or prowling. Officers were sent to Woodbury Avenue where three black men were trying to leave a location without paying. They later fled the area toward Applebee’s on bikes and scattered in different directions, including near Eastern Mountain Sports. The business alleged that they had not paid a $42 bill, wanted to file charges, and also issue no trespass orders. Officers eventually caught up with them behind the AutoZone. Hill and the other teen were charged, reportedly paid the tab, and were taken back to others to be transported to Kittery.

Andrew Johnson, 27, of Foster Street in Pepperell, MA, was arrested at 12:05 a.m. on Oct. 3, for driving while intoxicated. Officers were sent to Market and Deer streets for a truck heading outbound with a flat time. The driver was stopped and given a field sobriety test. The driver, Johnson, was then arrested.
An overdose was reported on Codfish Corner Road at 1:12 a.m. on Oct. 3. The victim was a 34-year-old woman and she was transported to the ER. A needle was found by another officer, according to a report.
