Portsmouth Police Log: Teen Arrested on Booze Charges

Plus, Maine woman charged with false report, local woman charged with DWI, and Greenland man arrested for domestic violence.

Amy Cresta, 42, of Woodland Hils Road in South Berwick, ME, was arrested at 1:47 p.m. on Sept. 28, 2015, for false report to law enforcement, unsworn falsification, and falsifying physical evidence. She turned herself in on a warrant.

Alisha A. Murray, 32, of Cutts Avenue in Portsmouth, was arrested at 4:36 p.m. on Sept. 28, on a driving while intoxicated charge. Police received a report of a “driver all over the road” in a VW Jetta traveling inbound on Sagamore. The vehicle was last seen traveling down Miller toward downtown. Police caught up with the vehicle at Summer and Islington after the driver “almost hit a pole,” according to the report. The vehicle was stopped at Islington and Bridge. After field sobriety tests, Murray, the driver, was arrested.

Kelsey Quinn, 19, of Taft Road in Portsmouth, was arrested at 10:19 p.m. on Sept. 28, for unlawful possession of alcohol and transportation of alcoholic beverages by a minor. An officer stopped a motor vehicle on the northbound side of the Route 1 Bypass. After performing field sobriety tests, Quinn was arrested and given a verbal warning for speeding.

Zachary J. Jameson, 22, of Post Road in Greenland, was arrested at 2:52 a.m. on Sept. 29, on two counts of domestic violence. Police were sent to Gosling Road for a report of a woman that called from a room screaming, “Get off me, you’re hurting me,” and then the line went dead. Jameson was arrested at the scene, according to the report.
