Portsmouth Police, Seacoast Family Pantry Host Food Drive

Stop by the Market Basket on Dec. 19 and make a donation.

PORTSMOUTH, NH - The Portsmouth Police Department in collaboration with Market Basket and the Seacoast Family Food Pantry will be holding a food drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015, at the Woodbury Avenue Market Basket in Portsmouth, according to a post on Facebook.

Officers Brian Lewis, Lynn Thomas, and Seth Tondreault have put together the event to help the Seacoast Family Food Pantry meet the needs of our community through this holiday season and beyond.

The Food Pantry has identified particular items they desperately need and department members will be on site to help direct you to them. Outside we’ll have two PPD black and whites to collect the goods. At the end of the event, the haul will be handed over to the Food Pantry.
