Portsmouth Police Seek Assistance with Theft Case

PORTSMOUTH, NH — The Portsmouth Police Department is asking for the public’s help with a theft case. According to a post on Facebook, at around noon on Dec. 17, 2016, a car window in the parking lot of Planet Fitness on Lafayette Road was smashed and a victim’s purse stolen.

A victim's purse, containing a credit card, was stolen, according to investigators who alleged that, “the suspect seen in the surveillance photograph later used the stolen credit card at a Rite Aid in Dover."
