Portsmouth Police Seek Info About Untimely Death
Kieth Napolitan, the executive chef at the Portsmouth Gas Light, passed away during the weekend.

The Portsmouth Police Department is seeking the public’s help in finding out any information about an “untimely death” on Saturday morning in the Shaw’s on Woodbury Avenue.
According to a press alert, Kieth Napolitan, 43, of Portsmouth, was found unresponsive in a vehicle in the store’s parking lot.
Portsmouth Fire and Rescue teams were called to the scene around 10:30 on Oct. 4, and transported Napolitan to Portsmouth Regional Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Police stated that the department’s detective division and the state’s medical examiner’s officer is investigating the untimely death.
Seacoastonline.com is reporting that it was a suspected heroin overdose.

Napolitan was the executive chef at Portsmouth Gas Light in Portsmouth and resided in the area for more than a decade, according to his obituary posted this morning. He left behind a fiancée, a father and mother, brothers and sisters, and many other relatives. A memorial visitation will be held on Oct. 7.
