Portsmouth Public Library: Building Closed Until Further Notice

Unfortunately, due to a large plumbing issue and the resulting cleanup process, the library building will remain closed until further notice.

We will have staff outdoors during open hours if you have questions or need to pick up your holds.
We will update our website and social media as soon as we are able to open.

We thank you for your patience in a difficult situation — please know our staff, as well as public works staff and remediation crews, are working very hard to make the library safe for the public again.
