Our Strategic Plan Community Survey is here!

Portsmouth Public Library is looking to the future – so this year we’ll be creating a Strategic Plan. We're conducting a community-wide survey this summer, and this fall we'll hold community discussions, publishing our Strategic Plan in the new year.

What is a Strategic Plan?

A strategic plan is a process and a document to help guide the direction of an organization. The final plan will outline the library’s goals and strategies for the next 3 – 5 years. To get there, we’ll be inviting community input in several ways. The Strategic Plan Community Survey is open to everyone – our goal is to hear from as much of the community as possible. Even if you are not a library user, or you don't visit often, we would very much like to hear from you and include your opinions in our results! Fill the survey out online, or complete a paper form at the library or at select locations around the city. All survey respondents can choose to enter a prize drawing, with a chance to win a variety of gift cards and other items donated by local businesses! We’ll update this page as we progress further in our strategic planning process. Have any questions? Contact us!
