Portsmouth’s Cup Of Joe Café And Bar To Host ‘Love Blooms Here’ Event Friday
After several downtown businesses were hit with graffiti, a group of nonprofits will hand-deliver flowers to counter the vandalism.

PORTSMOUTH, NH — Nonprofits in Portsmouth will be handing out flowers in an effort to counter-protest vandals who tagged businesses and houses of worship recently with spray paint and Swastikas.
Patrons and supporters of the effort are invited to meet at Joe Café And Bar on Market Street at noon to pick up a flower and then deliver them to the targeted businesses and houses of worship.
“In response to the hate crimes, we’re delivering bouquets to the places defaced on Tuesday,” Clifton West Jr, the executive director of Black Lives Matter Seacoast, said. “We need to show our support for the businesses and the place of worship impacted by the recent hate crimes. Love Blooms Here, not hate.”
