Pro Portsmouth Unveils its 2015 Children's Day Logo
Cal Gotlieb's entry will be featured on volunteer T-shirts on May 3, the celebration's poster, and website.

Pro Portsmouth held a press conference on April 15, 2015, to introduce the 2015 Children’s Day logo artist and unveil this year’s logo, according to a statement.
The press conference, which took place at Piscataqua Savings Bank, introduced Cal Gotlieb as the artist whose work was selected for the 2015 logo. His logo artwork will be featured on the volunteer T-shirts, the Children’s Day Map and Poster and the Pro Portsmouth website. Cal attends Dondero Elementary School.
The event, which takes place on Sunday, May 3, from noon to 4 p.m., begins when friends from Character Island arrive in Portsmouth at The Isles of Shoals Steamship Co.’s Dock parking lot. Activities abound from A to Z as all are invited to follow the Children’s Day map which takes them all over Downtown where they can enjoy crafts, face painting, games and more.

Pro Portsmouth Executive Director, Barbara Massar issued a special invitation to all: “After record-setting snowfall this winter had us all hibernating, we’re looking forward to seeing everyone out and about, following the Children’s Day Map all over Downtown Portsmouth!”
Entertainment takes place at the Block Party on Pleasant. This year’s schedule of performers includes Dan, the Puppet Man, Sammie Haynes and the Seacoast Civic Dance Company.
