‘Tis better that a human live –

If this be some kind of declaration

For what is one due, given chance

To seek the means of his deliverance?

Nothing but the grandest compliance –

No obstruction, coercion, or violence

Then enjoy your fruits, to the degree

That happiness is allowed in some territory

Quibble not over the lesser distractions

Leave that to philosophers – and factions
