The Seacoast Wind Ensemble marks "Music in Our Schools Month" with students at the Shapleigh School in Kittery, Maine
The Seacoast Wind Ensemble (SWE) will celebrate Music in Our Schools month by performing with student musicians at the Shapleigh Middle School in Kittery on Wednesday, March 16, at 7pm. Music in Our Schools Month (MIOS) is organized by the National Association for Music Education and provides young musicians with the special opportunity to play with adult, community-level performers. MIOS Month highlights the impact of music education and shows how it can foster artistic endeavors throughout the life-span, enriching our local communities.
