Maine Man Charged with Selling Drugs
The following arrest information was supplied by the Portsmouth Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Saturday, March 24 through Sunday, March 25.
Saturday:
- At 4:52 a.m., police reported a prowler complaint on Broad Street after the caller said she saw a man with a flashlight on the roof of her house.
- At 7:41 a.m., police reported a criminal mischief complaint on Walker Bungalow Road after the caller said someone toilet papered and egged his property.
- At 2:27 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man following a domestic incident on Porpoise Way. Andrew Swanson, 39, of 77 Porpoise Way in Portsmouth was charged with criminal mischief (vandalism).
- At 7:13 p.m., police arrested a Nottingham man for motor vehicle offenses on the Route 1 Bypass southbound near the Portsmouth Traffic Circle. Shawn M. Ford, 36, of 63 Priest Road in Nottingham was charged with suspended registration and driving after revocation or suspension.

- At 9:55 a.m., police reported a theft on Grafton Drive of a chain saw and a tool box from a car.
- At 11:03 a.m., police arrested a Hampton man for motor vehicle offenses on Greenland Road and Oxford Avenue. Merquane Benabdelkrim, 31, of 132 Ashworth Ave., Apt. 4, in Hampton was charged with suspended registration, operating without a valid license and driving after revocation or suspension.
- At 9:40 p.m., police arrested a South Berwick, Maine man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after he turned himself in at the police station. Mark R. Mauger, 25, of 25 Springtree Lane in South Berwick, Maine was wanted for sale of controlled/narcotic drugs.
