Speculative Fiction Featured in Portsmouth

Book club to meet the last Monday of the month through December.

The Portsmouth Public Library already offers a Fiction and Nonfiction Book Discussion Group. This fall there’s a new addition: Speculative Fiction. A genre that encompasses fantasy, science fiction, horror and everything in between. Speculative fiction asks, what if?

What if we discussed a new spec fic title every month, covering many different genres, themes and ranging from classic to modern? What if you could check out the book from the library, and meet with likeminded people for good discussion and refreshments?

Now it’s possible. The first Spec Fic Book Club meets on October 26 at 7 PM at Portsmouth Public Library. Drop by and check out a copy of the book today.
