St. Patrick’s Day Saturation Patrol Nets 8 On The Seacoast: New Hampshire State Police

EPPING, NH — The luck of the Irish was not with several drivers on St. Patrick’s Day as Troop A New Hampshire State Police troopers and police officers performed a saturation patrol on the Seacoast.

During several hours on Friday night and Saturday morning, troopers involved in the special enforcement and drug recognition expert units as well as other law enforcement officials, patrolled some of the “major corridors” on the Seacoast, focused primarily on traffic enforcement, Amber Lagace, a public information officer for the department, said.

“As a result of this collective enforcement effort by troopers,” she said, “a total of 177 traffic stops were conducted, resulting in the issuance of 51 citations and 153 warnings for various motor vehicle infractions. In addition, eight individuals were arrested for various offenses.”

Those arrested were:

• Christopher M. McMaster, 61, of Portsmouth was arrested on a driving under the influence charge on Route 16 south in Newington.
• Shasheen Conroy, 51, of Dover was arrested on a driving under the influence charge on Route 101 in Hampton.
• Dominic T. Nhim, 23, of Dover was arrested on aggravated driving under the influence, DUI, and speeding on Route 16 north in Dover.
• Gregory S. Parachojuk, 25, of Merrimac, Massachusetts, was arrested on a driving under the influence charge on Market Street in Portsmouth.
• Richard V. Thomas, 37, of Kittery, Maine, was arrested on a driving under the influence charge on Bow Street in Portsmouth.
• Kevin Khuon, 34, of Lowell, MA, was arrested on a driving under the influence charge on Interstate 95 in Hampton Falls.
• Pedro Bezerra De Freitas, 25, of Leominster, MA, received a summons on an operating without a valid license charge on I-95 south in Hampton.
• A 17-year-old Exeter resident received a summons for reckless operation on Route 101 east in Hampton.
