Stabbing Reported In Portsmouth Hotel: Report
Breaking: A Sheraton Harborside Hotel staffer was reportedly slashed multiple times in the face and chest with scissors by a guest today.
PORTSMOUTH, NH — Portsmouth Police are investigating the stabbing of an employee at a hotel in Downtown Portsmouth, according to a report online. Rockingham Alert is reporting on Facebook that police and fire and rescue teams were called to the Sheraton Harborside Hotel on Market Street for a report of a stabbing at just before 10 a.m. on March 16, 2018. The incident reportedly occurred in a hallway.
One staffer was injured and transported to the hospital with multiple stab wounds including at least six wounds to the face and chest area.
The guest has been taken into custody and the incident remains under investigation.
