Teens Arrested for Vandalism, Simple Assaults: Log

Portsmouth Police: Raymond man arrested on drug charges and Maine woman arrested on theft charge.

PORTSMOUTH, NH - A 17-year-old was arrested at 3:16 p.m. on Feb. 15, 2016, on a criminal mischief charge. Police were sent to Middle Road for a report of a resident who allegedly punched out windows on Saturday. They didn’t report it because the teen was at the hospital getting stitches, according to a report. The teen was later arrested.

Brian Whitney, 22, of Mountain Road in Raymond, was arrested at 7:14 p.m. on Feb. 16, 2016, on two counts of possession of controlled/narcotic drugs and negligent driving. A caller reported that there was a vehicle “all over the road” outside if the city but heading into the city. The vehicle reportedly swerved in front of another car on Middle Road and then reportedly hit another car near an attorney’s office. An officer stopped the vehicle by Highland and the driver was arrested.

Shawn M. Day, 47, of State Road in Eliot, ME, was arrested at 11:56 p.m. on Feb. 16, 2016, and charged with theft of services. She was arrested in Rochester on a Portsmouth warrant.

Roger Hall, 18, of Holiday Drive in Portsmouth, was arrested on 3:20 p.m. on Feb. 18, 2016, on three simple assault charges. He was arrested on a walk-in arrest.

Joshua Nesbitt, 28, of Lafayette Road in Portsmouth, was arrested at 8:59 p.m. on Feb. 18, 2016, on a bench warrant. He turned himself in on a warrant.

Mary Batts, 30, of Sagamore Avenue in Portsmouth, was arrested at 9:21 p.m. on Feb. 18, 2016, for domestic violence-false imprisonment. A woman called police to report that a relative was involved with a domestic with his girlfriend and she allegedly wouldn’t let him leave a home on Sagamore. “They are screaming at each other,” the caller alleged. When they arrived, Batts was arrested.
