Three Arrested After Crack Cocaine, Prostitution Bust

Portsmouth Police arrest Chelsea Gianotti-Bregy, Michael Bregy, and Scott Sawyer yesterday at local hotel.

PORTSMOUTH, NH - An undercover operation targeting prostitution and illegal drug sales landed three with charges yesterday at a local hotel, according to police.

Chelsea Gianotti-Bregy, 27, of Primrose Lane in Somersworth, was arrested on March 22, 2016, for prostitution, sale of a controlled drug (crack cocaine), possession of prescription drugs (Adderall), conspiracy to commit the sale of a controlled drug, and breach of bail. Also arrested was Michael Bregy, 30, pictured center, also of Primrose Lane in Somersworth, for possession of a controlled drug (crack cocaine), criminal liability for conduct of another (accomplice to prostitution), and promoting prostitution, and Scott Sawyer, 30, of Little River Road in Berwick, ME, for sale of a controlled drug (crack cocaine), conspiracy to commit the sale of a controlled drug, and possession of a controlled drug (crack cocaine).

Gianotti-Bregy was held without bail and will be arraigned on March 23. Bregy was released on personal recognizance bail and is due in court on May 2. Sawyer was held on $2,000 cash bail and will be arraigned on March 23.
