VIDEO: Easter Egg Hunt Draws Hundreds of Kids

The Easter Bunny made sure there were plenty of eggs at Langdon Park for all of the Portsmouth area children so nobody went home with an empty basket.

The city's annual Easter Egg Hunt at Langdon Park on Saturday drew hundreds of Portsmouth area children from preschool through second grade who found nearly all of the Easter Eggs left by the Easter Bunny himself.

Parents and their kids delighted in what was a perfect day for the Portsmouth Recreation Department's annual event where each child was allowed to take home up to 12 Easter eggs.

They also had a chance to find the coveted silver Easter Egg that would bring with it untold Easter treasures for kids who wanted to get their chocolate bunny and jelly beans fix before Easter Sunday.
