Volunteers Needed for Portsmouth Festival, Road Race

PORTSMOUTH, NH - What does it take to produce an event as grand as Downtown Portsmouth’s annual Market Square Day? The time, talent and energy of hundreds of volunteers!

With Market Square Day fast approaching, Pro Portsmouth is announcing a “Call for Volunteers.” Opportunities are available for individuals as well as groups.

“Volunteering on Market Square Day is a great way to get involved and give back to the community," noted Jennifer Salchunas, Coordinator with Pro Portsmouth. We have a large range of volunteer positions available - from creating the iconic balloon arches that sail above Congress Street, to staffing the merchandise booth - there’s something bound to fit everyone’s interest."
