When Does School Start in Portsmouth?

PORTSMOUTH, NH — It’s early August, so summer isn’t completely finished yet. However, before you know it, it will be time to send the kids back to school. According to the city’s school calendar, school starts for students 1-9 on Monday, Aug. 29. Tuesday, Aug. 30, it’s 1-12. Students K-12 start on Sept. 6.
