Woman Stole Medication from Dover Facility: NHSP

Diane Smith is scheduled to be in court after state police narcotics unit investigation.

CONCORD, NH - A woman from the eastern part of New Hampshire was arrested yesterday for allegedly stealing medication, according to state police.

Diane L. Smith, 32, of Forest Avenue in Rochester, was arrested on Jan. 25, 2016, on five counts of theft by unauthorized taking.

According to the New Hampshire State Police Narcotics and Investigations, Drug Diversion Unit, investigators looked in to allegations that Smith was allegedly stealing Pseudoephedrine from a Pyxis machine, belonging to a medical facility in Dover. During the course of the investigation, which took about a month, investigators issued five counts against Smith and arrested her.

Smith was released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail and is due in Dover District Court on March 22.
