Workshop to Provide Communication Strategies for Dementia Caregivers
The workshop will explore how communication takes place when someone has dementia, teach strategies to decode verbal and behavioral message.

PORTSMOUTH, NH — The Alzheimer’s Association is presenting a workshop on communication strategies for dementia caregivers Thursday, June 15, 2017, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Portsmouth Senior Center, 100 Campus Drive. The workshop is free and open to the public, according to a press statement.
Effective Communication Strategies explores how communication takes place when someone has dementia, teaches strategies to decode verbal and behavioral messages and will help caregivers connect and communicate through all stages of the disease.
