• House fire on Old Cathedral Road displaces nine people (ledgertranscript.com) — Nine residents were displaced after a fast-moving fire heavily damaged a home on Old Cathedral Road in Rindge, sending one person to the hospital for smoke inhalation but causing no other injuries. Fire Chief Bob Faas said the blaze started on the back exterior, spread into the house and roof, and remains under investigation. The American Red Cross is helping the family with temporary housing while they plan to rebuild.
