• City of Rochester holds public meeting to discuss proposed data center ordinance (wmur.com) — Rochester officials are taking public input on a proposed ordinance that would largely ban data centers across the city, allowing them only in the recycling industrial district with a special permit. Mayor Chuck Grassie says leaders want to protect Rochester’s environment and quality of life before any proposals arrive. The ordinance will take effect after the meeting, then move to the Planning Board for further review.
