• Rochester business owner fights July 4 arrest charges: 'I was targeted' (fosters.com) — A Rochester business owner and former mayoral candidate is contesting multiple charges stemming from his July 4 arrest at a Summer Street block party, saying police targeted him and misrepresented events. Police cite the city’s fireworks ordinance and allege assault and resisting arrest, while body-camera footage and bystander videos are now central to the dispute. 
• SOS Recovery finds new home in Somersworth after failed Rochester efforts (fosters.com) — SOS Recovery Community Center is relocating its services to Route 108 in Somersworth after efforts to buy properties on Rochester Hill Road and Hanson Street in Rochester were blocked by opposition. The group had served Rochester residents since 2016 and says future plans for the new site are still being developed.
