City Council to Hold Public Hearing on Proposed Water and Sewer Rate Changes on 11/17 (rochesternh.gov) — Rochester residents can question proposed water and sewer rate changes at a City Council public hearing November 17 at 6 p.m. The hearing is at City Hall, 31 Wakefield Street, with supporting information available through the City Clerk’s Office and city website.

James Bass ... worked on Space Shuttle projects; at 84 (therochestervoice.com) — James Tracy “Jim” Bass, an Air Force veteran whose civilian defense career included Space Shuttle and Titan rocket projects, died October 29 in Rochester at 84. His family remembers a generous father and grandfather who encouraged others, loved fixing things and delighted in telling stories of his adventures.
   

3. Teen writing, book groups meet monthly at RPL; 'Night at the Museum' plays Nov. 23 (therochestervoice.com) — Rochester teens have places to read, write and spend time together at the public library this November, with ongoing groups and drop-in activities. A no-registration screening of “Night at the Museum” is scheduled for Nov. 23 at 5:30 p.m., while the fall reading challenge remains open through Dec. 20.
   

4. Santa Is Coming to This NH Tavern For Pancakes & Pictures (wokq.com) — Families can have pancakes and take photos with Santa at Rochester’s Eastside Tavern on Sunday, November 29, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. The breakfast costs $5, with all proceeds going to Hometown Holiday Helpers, and is sponsored by Postal Center USA.
   

5. Meet the Seacoast 10 to Watch young professionals winners of 2026 (fosters.com) — Catapult Seacoast named its 2026 “10 to Watch” at a November 4 ceremony in Seabrook, recognizing young professionals whose work spans education, business and community service. Among the honorees are Safe Haven Ballet founder Lissa Curtis and Great Bay Kids executive director Anthony Panciocco, with winner profiles supplied by organizers.
